2010, Short Film

Peer into the mysterious and playful world of this internationally recognized artist and best selling author. Nick Bantock is the creator of the Griffin and Sabine series of interactive books. I had been a fan of his for years, and was thrilled to get to bring some of his thoughts about creative process to life in this film.

This animated short was created as part of a series called 12 Takes – 12 BC filmmakers give their takes on 12 BC Artists. My film about Roy Henry Vickers is another in the series, which airs regularly on Knowledge Network and was nominated for the 2011 Gemini Award for Best Performing Arts / Arts Documentary Program, as well as the 2011 Golden Sheaf Award for Best Arts / Culture Documentary.
